Born in Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture. After graduating from high school, moved to the United States. After working at Santa Ana College in California, he was transferred to the TV & Film Department of Chapman University, where he studied video production in general, mainly as a director. Directed several short films while in school. After graduating, he worked as a freelance director.

After returning to Japan after a period of stay of 7 years, including college and freelance era, he joined Just Cause Production. Taking advantage of the live-action video production experience in the United States, many major game cinemas such as "Devil May Cry 3", "Devil May Cry 4", "Akumajo Dracula Dark Curse", "Disaster", and "Dead Rising" Participating in Tick as an interpreter / assistant for the director and an advisor for script translation, he also gains experience in CG video production.

He was in charge of the assistant director of "Resident Evil 5" cinematic, which was recorded and produced in the United States, and was selected as the director of cinematic in the following "Lost Planet 2". Based on the experience cultivated up to that point, he has been involved in the production of motion capture sites and CG video production, leading to success.

Participated in "Resident Evil 6", which sold more than 7.1 million copies worldwide, from script production, and directed storyboards, directing to overseas actors, CG production and cinematic in total. Get favorable reviews.

Directed live-action video works for the concept video of "Resident Evil Revelations 2" and Panasonic commercials.

He specializes in dramas and fast-paced video views, and is active as a director who can produce a wide range of production from CG images of horror and action games to live-action commercials and movies.

In recent years, he has been in charge of cinematic storyboards and directors for the long-awaited remake "Resident Evil RE: 2".
